Rosebank 20 yo 1981 Rare Malts

by Oliver Klimek on June 18, 2012

My Tasting Notes:

Colour: Dark straw
Nose: Dusty hay, apples, toasted nuts, white pepper, water unveils tropical fruit.
Palate: Candied lemon, vanilla, hazelnuts, banana chips, treacle, hints of ginger and pepper.
Finish: Long, fruity and spicy.
Overall: A very complex yet light-bodied malt that has fruity and spicy flavours in very good balance.

Rating: 88/100 – no price information as this is a collector’s bottle
