Roseisle Newmake – Light Style

by Oliver Klimek on June 15, 2012

My Tasting Notes:

Colour: Clear
Nose: Pears, ripe apples, breakfast cereals, hints of honey.
Palate: Pears, apples, hints of cherries, porridge with cream.
Finish: Long, fruity and creamy.
Overall: A very good newmake with no off notes and a good balance of fruit and cereal flavours. The smooth and creamy mouthfeel is unusual for raw spirit but very pleasant.

Rating: 78/100 – no price information for obvious reasons
