Penderyn Portwood 41

by Oliver Klimek on June 8, 2012

My Tasting Notes:

Colour: Dark amber
Nose: Cassis, strawberries, oranges, vanilla, caramel, hints of cinnamon.
Palate: Very much like the nose, dried apricots and a little pepper join the harmony of flavours.
Finish: Long, fruity and slightly spicy.
Overall: Very nice indeed, most enjoyable and well-balanced. Make the next edition a Portwood 46 please, and it will be even nicer.

Rating: 86/100 – Price Tag $$$$$ – Value for your Money $$$$$

Scored blind for the Malt Maniacs Awards 2011 – Re-tasted for notes
