Sherry butt 800025 – 61.8%
My Tasting Notes:
Colour: Dark amber
Nose: Ham being smoked over burning tyres.
Palate: Strong peat, smoked ham, cherries, strong coffee, mediterranean herbs and a sulphury tang.
Finish: Long, strange and smoky.
Overall: Some rather unusual flavours can be found here, this is a whisky with the potential of dividing opinions. But I can’t make up my mind which side to take.
Rating: 83/100 – Price Tag $$$$$ – Value for your Money $$$$$
