My Tasting Notes:
Colour: Bright gold
Nose: Pineapple, banana, vanilla, lemon zest, hints of resin and just a wee whiff of smoke.
Palate: Mild peat, vanilla, mixed citrus fruit, pineapple, coconut, hints of ginger and pepper.
Finish: Long, fruity and slightly smoky.
Overall: Again the Japanese prove their talent to create perfectly balanced malts with delicate yet impressive flavours. The gentle smokiness adds an intriguing dimension.
