Yamazaki Sherry Cask

by Oliver Klimek on June 3, 2012

My Tasting Notes:

Colour: Mahogany
Nose: Prunes, blackberries, dark chocolate, leather, cinnamon and hints of cardamom.
Palate: Prunes, cherries, cassis, dark chocolate, tea, cinnamon, cardamom and hints of mild pepper.
Finish: Long, fruity and dry.
Overall: This sherry bomb has got quite some wood influence, but the strong flavours support it.

Rating: 87/100 – Price Tag $$$$$ – Value for your Money $$$$$

Scored blind for the Malt Maniacs Awards 2011 – Re-tasted for notes
