My Tasting Notes:
Colour: Bright gold
Nose: Honey, vanilla, pears poached in white wine, lemon zest, caramelized walnuts, hints of wood polish. A bit shy overall.
Palate: Honey, vanilla, lemon curd, hints of nuts and nutmeg.
Finish: Medium long, sweet and slightly fruity.
Overall: Very mild and gentle, almost timid, it really needs a few drops of water to open up a little. Probably the most delicate dram of the Icons of Arran series.
