My Tasting Notes:
Colour: Dark copper
Nose: Prunes, black cherries, hints of balsamic vinegar, orange zest, caramel, cinnamon.
Palate: Orange zest, dark caramel, jam from mixed dark berries, coffee and tea (yes!), cinnamon, nutmeg and wood tannins.
Finish: Very long, fruity and dry.
Overall: Despite of slightly lacking ABV punch this is a brilliant whisky with lots of sherried goodness and an outstanding finish.
Rating: 88/100 – Price Tag $$$$$ – Value for your Money $$$$$
