My Tasting Notes:
Colour: Bright gold
Nose: Apples, banana, hints of mango, vanilla, freshly cut wood, ginger, a whiff of mixed flowers.
Palate: Fried banana with honey, apples, pears, vanilla, treacle, candied ginger and hints of pepper.
Finish: Long, fruity and slightly spicy.
Overall: A thoroughly enjoyable Japanese whisky with a very good balance of flavours, both complex and approachable at the same time.
