Glenfarclas 2002/2011

by Oliver Klimek on May 18, 2012

Casks 1575/1576 – 58%

My Tasting Notes:

Colour: Dark copper
Nose: Prunes, cherries, burnt sugar, leather, chocolate, cinnamon, polished wood, hints of tobacco
Palate: Prunes, dried figs, cherries, cassis, orange zest, medium dark chocolate, cinnamon, hints of chili.
Finish: Long, fruity and spicy.
Overall: A very nice sherry bomb, still a bit youthful around the edges, but rich in flavours and well-balanced.

Rating: 86/100 – Price Tag $$$$$ – Value for your Money $$$$$

Tasted blind for the Malt Manics Awards 2011, re-tasted for notes.
