My Tasting Notes:
Colour: Mahogany
Nose: Prunes, dried apricots, dark caramel, toffee, cigar box, leather, cinnamon and hints of nutmeg.
Palate: Dried apricots, raisins, Scotch tablet, chocolate, strong tea, cinnamon and nutmeg.
Finish: Long and fruity with a dry sweetness.
Overall: A superb sherried whisky, the wood influence is rather strong but kept in check by the rich sweet and fruity aromas.
Rating: 91/100 – Price Tag $$$$$ – Value for your Money $$$$$
