My Tasting Notes:
Nose: Peat smoke, vanilla, lemon zest, liquorice, camphor, cloves and pepper
Palate: Rather strong peat, hints of smoked ham, vanilla, liquorice, nutmeg, cloves and hints of pepper.
Finish: Very long, smoky and slightly spicy.
Overall: Once more Kilchoman has managed to issue a young whisky that is extremely enjoyable. The endless finish is its biggest asset as well as the affordable price.
Rating: 87/100 – Price Tag $$$$$ – Value for your Money $$$$$
