My Tasting Notes:
Colour: Pale straw
Nose: Rather light smoke, some farmy whiffs, vanilla, pineapple, hints of nuts, hints of ginger and pepper.
Palate: Peat, vanilla, hints of porridge and fudge, lemon zest, ginger, hints of nutmeg and pepper.
Finish: Long, smoky and slightly dry.
Overall: This malt is very light in character and quite different from the Machir Bay. A good dram but it takes some effort to taste the flavours beyond the comparatively mild peat
