Glenlivet Master Distiller’s Reserve

by Oliver Klimek on April 21, 2012

My Tasting Notes:

Colour: Dark amber
Nose: Stewed apples, vanilla, lemon zest, candied ginger, hints of cardamom and pepper.
Palate: Apples, raisins, vanilla, caramel, hints of nutmeg and white pepper.
Finish: Rather long, fruity and slightly spicy.
Overall: A nice whisky of the Daily Dram category, not boasting overwhelming complexity but a quite pleasant sippability

Rating: 80/100 – Price Tag $$$$$ – Value for your Money $$$$$

Hi Mate,

I was just wondering if you have reviewed this one, I was not so hopeful but it was a nice surprise that you have already done it.
