My Tasting Notes:
Colour: Dark amber
Nose: Raisins, dried figs, prunes, cocoa, hints of tobacco and nutmeg.
Palate: Prunes, raisins, orange zest, dark chocolate, cinnamon and nutmeg.
Finish: Long fruity and slightly dry.
Overall: Having a strong and very nice old-fashioned sherry nose, the whisky calms down quite a bit on the palate, leaving a slightly watery feeling.
