Glen Spey 1999/2011 Riverstown

by Oliver Klimek on April 7, 2012

By Blackadder – Cask 125 – 59.8%

My Tasting Notes:

Colour: Straw
Nose: Quite weak, a little spirity with vanilla, malt and a whiff of fresh hay.
Palate: Breakfast muesli with white pepper.
Finish: Medium long and slighty dry.
Overall: Another one of those generic “not bad, but…” drams from very inactive casks.

Rating: 74/100 – Price Tag $$$$$ – Value for your Money $$$$$

Scored blind for the Malt Maniacs Awards 2011 – Re-tasted for notes
