My Tasting Notes
Colour: Mahogany
Nose: Demerara sugar, lime, orange zest, cinnamon, nutmeg and a whiff of paint thinner.
Palate: Burnt caramel, orange zest, vanilla, cinnamon, cardamom and nutmeg
Finish: Long, slightly spicy and slightly bitter.
Overall: A mild bitterness makes this thick rum a little unusual. It is not very sweet, quite sippable neat but generally rather for mixing.
