Raw Cask series – 59.4%
My Tasting Notes:
Colour: Dark gold
Nose: Ham being smoked by burning bandages soaked in iodine tincture while a gust of air is blowing through the open seaside window.
Palate: Bandaged ham garnished with a liquorice snail has never tasted better.
Finish: Very kong, smoky and dry.
Overall: The medicinal character of this most delightful malt points to a location fairly close to Port Ellen.
Rating: 88/100 – Price Tag $$$$$ – Value for your Money $$$$$
Scored blind for the Malt Maniacs Awards 2011 – Re-tasted for notes
