Cask 3605 – 57%
My Tasting Notes:
Colour: Medium gold
Nose: Apples, pears, nuts, vanilla, hints of ginger and rubber.
Palate: Apples, oats, mixed nuts, vanilla, lemon zest, ginger and nutmeg.
Finish: Medium long, fruity and slightly spicy.
Overall: Nothing special to say about this malt, all very much middle of the road. I can’t help thinking that it would have benefited from a few years more in the cask.
Rating: 75/100 – Price Tag $$$$$ – Value for your Money $$$$$
