Macallan 1990/2006 Mackillop’s Choice

by Oliver Klimek on March 27, 2012

My Tasting Notes:

Colour: Straw
Nose: Vanilla, lemon zest, hints of nuts and ginger, a little pepper.
Palate: Vanilla, porridge, nuts, lemon zest, hints of tinned fruit, ginger and nutmeg.
Finish: Long, slightly fruity and slightly spicy.
Overall: This is form a pretty tired cask. It’s not bad whisky at all but it doesn’t leave lasting impressions in your memory.

Rating: 81/100 – Price Tag $$$$$ – Value for your Money $$$$$
