Glengoyne 1988/2007 Cask 718

by Oliver Klimek on March 18, 2012

PX sherry cask – 58.3%

My Tasting Notes:

Colour: Mahogany
Nose: Strong on marzipan, dried figs, raisins, mild spices.
Palate: Sweet dried fruit, dark chocolate, orange marmalade, fudge, cinnamon and nutmeg.
Finish: Long, fruity and slightly dry.
Overall: A thick and delicious dram from a Pedro Ximenez sherry cask.

Rating: 87/100 – Price Tag $$$$$ – Value for your Money $$$$$
