My Tasting Notes:
Colour: Copper
Nose: Prunes, sweet cherries, toasted almonds, cigar box, dark caramel, cinnamon and nutmeg.
Palate: Mixed dried fruit, honey, caramel, hints of mild spices.
Finish: Medium long, sweet and slightly fruity.
Overall: The fantastic old time sherry nose is in 90+ territory, but palate and finish are strangely weak for such a high end whisky.
