Sherry butt – 54.1%
My Tasting Notes:
Colour: Dark copper
Nose: Raisins, dried figs, toasted almonds, chocolate, faint whiffs of oxtail soup.
Palate: Rich Christmas cake, dark chocolate, cinnamon, hints of mild oriental spices.
Finish: Long and fruity.
Overall: A very fine and thick dram with a nose that captures the meaty quality some rich sherries can have. Some gentle spices round off this malt.
Rating: 87/100 – Price Tag $$$$$ – Value for your Money $$$$$
