My Tasting Notes:
Colour: Dark copper
Nose: Very strong, mixed forest berries, chocolate, leather, hints of cinnamon and old oak.
Palate: Cassis, bramble, cocoa, orange zest, hints of tea, cinnamon and nutmeg.
Finish: Very long, dry and fruity.
Overall: A great sherry whisky with a gentle cask influence that does not disturb flavours. At this quality level the low botling strength is excusable.
