My Tasting Notes:
Colour: Bright gold
Nose: Raisins, honey, polished wood, hints of nutmeg and mediterranean herbs, a whiff of smoke and a slight floral touch.
Palate: Mild peat, honey, raisins, orange zest, savoury herbs, hints of nutmeg and pepper.
Finish: Very long, fruity and slightly spicy.
Overall: Some quite intersting herbal notes can be found in this malt. Nose and finish are fantastic, but it could be a little fuller on the palate.
