My Tasting Notes:
Colour: Dark gold
Nose: Honey, mixed sweets, cloves, hints of smoked ham and a whiff of smoke becoming stronger with time.
Palate: Gentle peat, honey, tinned fruit cocktail, vanilla, hints of ginger and nutmeg.
Finish: Long, smoky and slightly fruity.
Overall: The peat needs a while to cut through the sweet fruits. Quite a nice dram, but a bit weakish on the palate.
