Tomatin Decades

by Oliver Klimek on January 19, 2012

My Tasting Notes:

Colour: Bright gold
Nose: Pineapple, polished wood, honey, sweet grapes, candied ginger, hints of nutmeg.
Palate: Peach, pineapple, candied mango, hints of ginger, nutmeg and pepper.
Finish: Long fruity and slightly dry with a hint of smoke.
Overall: Containing malts from five decades this is a very fine fruity dram with an elegant driness. The nose is terrific, the palate is a little weaker.

Rating: 85/100 – Price Tag $$$$$ – Value for your Money $$$$$
