Port Charlotte 2002/2010 Malts of Scotland

by Oliver Klimek on January 10, 2012

Cask 77 – 61.1%

My Tasting Notes:

Colour: Straw
Nose: Very intensive. Camp fire, sea breeze, disinfectant, vanilla, banana, ginger, liquorice.
Palate: Strong peat, fruit muesli, vanilla, honey, cough medicine, ginger and pepper.
Finish: Very long, spicy and smoky.
Overall: This dram has a rather medicinal character. If you like that style of whisky, you will love this one.

Rating: 87/100 – Price Tag $$$$$ – Value for your Money $$$$$
