50.5%

My Tasting Notes:

Colour: Straw
Nose: Strong wood smoke, vanilla, honey, cloves, hints of citrus.
Palate: Peat, vanilla, honey, just a touch of fruit, cloves, hints of pepper.
Finish: Long smoky and spicy.
Overall: The flavour profile of this malt is a little generic, but evertything is harmonizing very well.

Rating: 87/100 – Price Tag $$$$$ – Value for your Money $$$$$

Scored blind for the Malt Maniacs Awards 2011 – Re-tasted for notes
