Ardmore 1992/2011 Single Malts of Scotland

by Oliver Klimek on January 4, 2012

My Tasting Notes:

Colour: Dark straw
Nose: Light smoke, banana, pineapple, butterscotch, vanilla, nutmeg and pepper.
Palate: Medium peat, banana, lemon zest, vanilla, cereals, nutmeg and pepper
Finish: Long, spicy smoke, slightly fruity.
Overall: The enticing fruitiness of the nose does not fully translate onto the palate. It tastes quite nice but even with water there is a sharp edge to it.

Rating: 83/100 – Price Tag $$$$$ – Value for your Money $$$$$
