My Tasting Notes:
Colour: Copper
Nose: Stewed apples, burnt sugar, hay, polished wood, cinnamon, hints of cloves.
Palate: Apples, pears, lemon and orange zest, caramel, mild tannins, cinnamon.
Finish: Long, fruity and slightly dry.
Overall: At the price of a standard blended whisky, this calvados offers a very decent value. With a rather typical and taste profile it does not have to fear its more expensive competitors.
Rating: 81/100 – Price Tag $$$$$ – Value for your Money $$$$$
