My Tasting Notes:
Colour: Dark amber
Nose: Caramel, raisins, stewed apples, orange marmalade, old oak, hints of nutmeg.
Palate: Mixed fruit compote, fudge, toasted almonds, coffee, cinnamon, nutmeg and pepper.
Finish: Long, spicy and slightly fruity.
Overall: A bit lacklustre at the beginning, some drops of water bring out a nice set of flavours. But this is not a bargain dram.
Rating: 85/100 – Price Tag $$$$$ – Value for your Money $$$$$
