Clynelish 28 yo 1982 Single Malts of Scotland

by Oliver Klimek on December 21, 2011

My Tasting Notes:

Colour: Bright gold
Nose: Ripe apples, sweet melon, honey, candied ginger, hints of nutmeg and pepper.
Palate: Honey, apples, banana, vanilla, ginger, nutmeg and pepper with that famous Clynelish waxiness.
Finish: Long, fruity and slightly spicy.
Overall: Thoroughly enjoyable, both fresh and youthful as well as old and refined; this Clynelish is a very fine and typical aged expression of this distillery.

Rating: 88/100 – Price Tag $$$$$ – Value for your Money $$$$$
