My Tasting Notes:
Colour: Dark gold
Nose: A whiff of smoke gives way to mixed tropical fruit, honey and mild spices.
Palate: Gentle peat, pineapple, mango, honey, butterscotch, vanilla, hints of nutmeg.
Finish: Long, fruity and slightly smoky.
Overall: A great old-fashioned dram with a surprising amount of peat smoke. Very, smooth, gentle and perfectly balanced. They don’t make them like this anymore…
