My Tasting Notes:
Colour: Dark gold
Nose: Honey, apricots, caramel, polished wood, vanilla and nutmeg.
Palate: Apricots, raisins, lemon, vanilla fudge, nutmeg, hints of pepper.
Finish: Long, fruity and spicy.
Overall: Not quite as sweet as one would expect from a sweet wine finish, this is quite an enjoyable dram. A nice amount of spice complements the fruity flavours.
Rating: 85/100 – Price Tag $$$$$ – Value for your Money $$$$$
