Glenlochy 1974/1987 Sestante

by Oliver Klimek on December 14, 2011

My Tasting Notes:

Colour: Bright gold
Nose: Honey, apples, summer meadow, vanilla, hints of resin, nutmeg.
Palate: Honey, apples, lemon, vanilla, hints of malt, strong spices (ginger, nutmeg and pepper)
Finish: Long, fruity and spicy.
Overall: This is strong stuff, and the addition of water is recommended. It offers quite a lot of nice flavours but is a bit too spicy for my taste.

Rating: 82/100 – No price information as this is a collector’s bottle
