My Tasting Notes:
Colour: Bright gold
Nose: Freshly cut wood, apples, bananas, vanilla, lime, hints of honey and ginger.
Palate: An attack of green apples quickly fades into hints of breakfast cereals, vanilla, ginger and pepper.
Finish: Rather short, fruity and slightly spicy.
Overall: The very fresh and enjoyable nose is countered by a rather disappointing palate. The finish is not very convincing either. Not the best casks went into this bottling.
