My Tasting Notes:
Colour: Dark copper
Nose: Cardamom, cloves, orange zest, vanilla, hints of cinnamon.
Palate: Very much the same as the nose, with a medium sweetness.
Finish: Long, sweet and spicy.
Overall: This is a proper spice bomb, not immediately recognizable as rum. The makers mention just a ‘hint’ of cardamom, but for me this is the most dominant aroma. It’s actually quite enjoyable, if you expect rather a liqueur than a real rum.
