My Tasting Notes:
Colour: Bright amber
Nose: Honey, apples, banana, grapefruit, coconut, polished wood, hints of ginger and pepper.
Palate: Honey, apples, banana, coconut, mixed citrus fruit, toffee, ginger, hints of nutmeg and pepper.
Finish: Long, fruity and slightly spicy.
Overall: Rich and creamy, sweet and fruity, and a little spicy: There is a lot to discover in this excellent old malt.

This year I tasted quite a few very very good single cask Glengoyne expressions in Oslo as well as regular distillery releases in Whisky Fest New York 2011. Very much interested in this distillery than before…
