My Tasting Notes:
Colour: Straw
Nose: Gentle peat fire, vanilla, wet leaves, hints of pears and porridge, cloves and pepper.
Palate: Strong peat, pears, honey, vanilla, hints of porridge, mixed spices.
Finish: Long, smoky and slightly fruity.
Overall: This malt still shows its youth, but it is far from being unenjoyable. Give it a few more years and it should be terrific.
