Tomatin 1976/2011 The Nectar of the Daily Dram

A very enjoyable old dram, the age shows in the finesse of its aromas and not so much in the wood influence. – Rating: 87/100

Mortlach 1998/2006 C&S Dram Collection

Very fast cask maturation here, it does not matter at all that the whisky is ‘only’ 8 years old. It is rich and creamy with a nice slightly dry fruitiness. – Rating: 86/100

Laphroaig 1998/2010 The Whisky Cask

I can only describe this malt as very crisp. It is not overly complex but it leaves no doubt that it is a very fine young Laphroaig, focussing on the essentials. – Rating: 87/100
