My Tasting Notes
Colour: Dark gold
Nose: Raisins, orange, toasted almonds, wood polish, cardamom, hints of nutmeg.
Palate: Raisins, orange flower honey, marzipan, caradmon, hints of nutmeg and pepper, quite spirity even with water.
Finish: Long, sweet and spicy.
Overall: The general taste of this whisky is very nice indeed, but there is a spirty edge to it that takes away some of the pleasure.
