My Tasting Notes
Colour: Dark gold
Nose: Sweet grapes, vanilla, hints of cherries and cassis, polished wood and a little pepper.
Palate: Mixed fruit compote rich in pears and cherries, vanilla, ginger and pepper, but there is also a hint of mature cheese.
Finish: Very long, fruity and slightly spicy.
Overall: A really nice wine finish here, the cheese note is barely noticeable but adds an interesting dimension to an already very flavourful dram.
