Colour: Straw
Nose: ‘Port Askaig Harbour’ is a very fitting discription, very maritime with spicy smoke.
Palate: Peat mixes with citrus fruit, vanilla and hints of coconut, ginger and pepper.
Finish: Long, fruity and smoky.
Overall: This is a typical Islay whisky that makes you feel like being there. Don’t bother guessing the distillery, simply enjoy it.
