Sherry butt 186 – 54.7%
My Tasting Notes
Colour: Dark copper
Nose Rum soaked prunes, cherries, dark toffee, polished old oak, hints of tobacco and cinnamon.
Palate: Cherries, baba au rhum, toffee, orange zest, cinnamon, hints of very mild green pepper.
Finish: Very long, fruity and dry.
Overall: The richness of the nose is not quite matched by the palate, but the finish again is sensational. Another very fine example of the old Glenglassaugh sherry monsters.
