Colour: Medium amber
Nose: Nuts, orange zest, prunes, toffee, caramel, polished wood, old leather, hints of nutmeg.
Palate: Toasted nuts, butterscotch, prunes, orange marmalade, candied ginger, hints of nutmeg.
Finish: Very long, midly sweet and slightly spicy with a tiny little bit of smoke.
Overall: An absolutely delightful dram, a mixture of delicate sweetness and a little fruit that is displaying noble traces of age. Water is needed.
