My Tasting Notes

Colour: Dark gold
Nose: A coal fire on a cold winter night, slabs of bacon hanging over the burnt-down fireplace. A gust of wind opens the wooden door, carrying a short blast of aerosol-laden sea air into the room.
Palate: Dry and smoky peat, liquorice with a drop of honey, a bit of vanilla fugde sprinkled with nutmeg.
Finish: Very long, and very complex.
Overall: Not really typical for the distillery, but this is a malt whisky which gets your fantasy rolling. The essence of Islay in a glass. Perfection.

Rating: 90/100 – Price Tag $$$$$ – Value for your Money $$$$$
