My Tasting Notes
Colour: Bright amber
Nose: Rather fragile, burnt sugar, vanilla, hints of bergamote and nutmeg.
Palate: Caramel, honey, cinnamon, hints of orange zest, nutmeg and pepper.
Finish: Long, sweet and slightly spicy.
Overall: Rather sweet, but it is kept in balance by the gentle wood spices. A nice rum that is a bit on the sweet side and doesn’t show its age too much.
Rating: 81/100 – Price Tag $$$$$ – Value for your Money $$$$$
