My Tasting Notes
Colour: Dark amber
Nose: Burnt sugar, polished wood, toffee, lemon zest, nutmeg, nice but a bit pungent.
Palate: Caramel, treacle toffee, milk chocolate, just hints of citrus and cinnamon.
Finish: Medium long and sweet.
Overall: A rather strange beast, this rum. Being very fresh and strong on the nose, the smooth and sweet palate is quite a contrast. The sweetness is a bit too overwheling for my taste, I have to admit.
