Trois Rivières Cuvée du Moulin

by Oliver Klimek on September 9, 2011

Rhum Agricole from Martinique – 40%

My Tasting Notes

Colour: Dark amber
Nose: Prunes, orange zest, vanilla, butterscotch, polished oak, hints of pepper and nutmeg.
Palate: Caramel, orange zest, mixed fruit compote, hints of pepper and nutmeg.
Finish: Long, fruity and slightly spicy.
Overall: This aged rum has similarities to both cognac and certain types of whisky. You might be able to sneak it into blind tasting of either being unnoticed. A very pleaseant drinking experience

Rating: 86/100 – Price Tag $$$$$ – Value for your Money $$$$$
